Lots Of Love
Hello, my name is Kelli, and I want to welcome you to my world of Goldens. My passion and love for these beautiful dogs are my world along with my family.
About 18 years ago my journey began with our first Golden and at times have had 6 Goldens living in our house at the same time. All my Goldens have always lived in our home and never in a kennel as we view them as part of our family. Some folks might think I am a little crazy, but I wouldn't change a thing!
You are probably wondering if a Golden Retriever is right for you and your family? Here are some things to think about.
Hair everywhere Yes, your Golden baby will have a beautiful coat but not just on their body, but in all corners of your house, all over your rugs, hair will be in every corner of your life! How do those hair bunnies crawl under your couch?
If you like tails, then your Golden will never stop wagging his love for you, they think of nothing but wagging and never realize they have knocked something on the floor with that active tail.
Depending on the type of yard you have, they love to get their feet muddy and to bring in all those leaves they just rolled in.
Goldens have those big sad eyes when they see you are probably leaving the house for a while & yes, they can really make you feel guilty for leaving!
However, coming home to them is like no other, it seems like you were gone for days on end when it was just a few hours. Their tail will smack everything, and their body will wiggle all across the floor. Some of these Goldens will sing you a song on how bad it was when you left them, and some will smile from ear to ear that you are back!
Time to take a walk or play ball? That is a whole new level. Golden's will play non-stop.
Goldens do not believe in a personable bubble space, in fact while I am writing this, I have Joy just resting her head on my leg and looking at me with those adoring eyes!
Bathroom time, yes, they love to come and see what you are doing, NO privacy!
The last thing to remember if you are considering getting a Golden Retriever is that they are more than a dog, they are an important part of your family!
NEXT BREEDING WILL BE WITH JOY IN SPRING OF 2025. WAITLIST IS ON HOLD!
